BrainSheet makes no network requests at all. There is no account, no server, no cloud sync, no advertising, and no analytics SDK. Everything you type stays in the app's storage on your device until you shred it or delete the app.
BrainSheet stores the shift sheet you create — room number, initials, code status, cautions, tasks, medications, notes, and lab values you type — plus your app settings. This data is written to a private app directory that is excluded from iCloud and iTunes device backups, so it does not leave the phone through a backup either. Settings that contain no patient information (theme, lock toggle, reminder toggle, auto-shred delay) are stored separately in ordinary app storage.
The developer cannot see any of it. There is no endpoint for it to be sent to.
BrainSheet has no field for a patient's full name, date of birth, or medical record number. Those fields do not exist in the app, so they cannot be entered, stored, or leaked. A room number and initials are what the sheet is built around.
The app also has no share sheet, export, PDF, print, clipboard, or sync feature. The handoff view is read-only on screen. Removing those surfaces is deliberate: it is how the app keeps patient information from travelling.
When you press Shred, the sheet is deleted first and the shredding animation plays afterwards, so the data is gone even if the animation is interrupted or the app is killed. You can also set an auto-shred delay: once that time has passed after your shift ends, the sheet is shredded the next time the app opens. Shredded sheets are not recoverable — there is no backup, undo, or trash.
Settings > Data > Delete all data removes everything the app stores, including settings. Deleting the app also removes its data.
The app contains no analytics or advertising SDK and does not use the advertising identifier. A small number of product events (for example, "a sheet was shredded") are counted locally to decide when to show the App Store rating prompt. They are never transmitted.
BrainSheet is a professional note-taking tool for clinicians and is not directed to children.
BrainSheet is a personal note-taking tool. It is not a medical device, an electronic medical record, or a charting system, and it makes no claim of compliance with HIPAA or any other regulation. Your employer's policies on patient information, personal devices, and record keeping govern your use of it.

이 앱에는 환자 성명·생년월일·등록번호(MRN) 입력 칸이 없습니다. 칸이 아예 없으므로 입력·저장·유출될 수 없습니다. 시트는 호실과 이니셜을 중심으로 설계돼 있습니다.
공유 시트, 내보내기, PDF, 인쇄, 클립보드 복사, 동기화 기능도 없습니다. 인수인계 화면은 화면에서 읽기만 합니다. 이 표면들을 만들지 않은 것은 의도된 설계이며, 환자 정보가 옮겨 다니지 않게 하는 방법입니다.
[파기]를 누르면 시트를 먼저 삭제하고 파쇄 연출은 그 뒤에 재생합니다. 연출이 중단되거나 앱이 종료돼도 삭제는 이미 끝난 상태입니다. 자동 파기 시간을 정해 두면 근무가 끝나고 그 시간이 지난 뒤 앱을 열 때 시트를 파기합니다. 파기한 시트는 복구할 수 없습니다 — 백업도, 되돌리기도, 휴지통도 없습니다.
설정 > 데이터 > 데이터 전부 지우기를 선택하면 설정을 포함해 앱이 저장한 모든 것을 지웁니다. 앱을 삭제해도 함께 지워집니다.
분석·광고 SDK가 없고 광고 식별자도 사용하지 않습니다. 앱 스토어 평가 요청 시점을 정하려고 소수의 제품 이벤트(예: "시트를 파기했다")를 기기 안에서만 세며, 전송하지 않습니다.
BrainSheet는 의료 종사자를 위한 업무 메모 도구이며 어린이를 대상으로 하지 않습니다.
BrainSheet는 개인 메모 도구입니다. 의료기기도, 전자의무기록(EMR)도, 차팅 시스템도 아니며, HIPAA를 비롯한 어떤 규정의 준수도 주장하지 않습니다. 환자 정보·개인 기기·기록 관리에 관한 소속 기관의 정책이 우선합니다.
