Terms of Use
CrackLog(이하 "앱")를 이용해 주셔서 감사합니다. 본 약관은 이용자와 개발자 Team DogFoot 간의 이용 조건을 정합니다. 앱을 설치·이용하면 본 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.
앱은 계정 없이, 서버 없이, 전부 무료로 제공됩니다. 데이터 처리에 관한 내용은 개인정보처리방침을 함께 확인해 주세요.
01앱 개요
CrackLog(App Store 표기 CrackLog: Coffee Roasting Log)는 커피 홈로스팅을 기록하는 앱입니다. 로스팅 중 타이머를 켜고, 온도를 손으로 입력하고, 1차·2차 크랙 순간을 직접 탭하면 로스트 커브가 그려지고 배출 후 배치가 카드로 남습니다.
앱은 완전 로컬입니다 — 계정이 없고, 운영 서버가 없으며, 모든 기록은 이용자의 기기 안에만 저장됩니다.
02이용 조건 (계정 없음)
- 앱을 쓰기 위한 가입·로그인이 없습니다. 설치하면 바로 사용할 수 있습니다.
- 계정이 없으므로 계정 정지·해지·비밀번호 분실 같은 개념이 존재하지 않습니다.
- 로스팅은 화기와 고온 기기를 다루는 작업입니다. 어린이는 보호자의 감독 없이 로스팅하거나 이 앱을 사용해서는 안 됩니다.
- 앱은 iOS 기기에서 동작하며, 이용자는 Apple의 관련 약관도 함께 준수해야 합니다.
03요금
CrackLog는 전 기능 무료로 제공됩니다. 인앱 결제·구독·광고가 없습니다.
향후 유료 기능이 도입될 수 있으며, 그 경우 조건을 사전에 명확히 고지합니다. 유료화가 도입되더라도 기존 이용자가 이미 쓰던 기능은 회수하지 않습니다(grandfathering). 인앱 결제가 도입되면 결제·환불은 Apple App Store 정책에 따릅니다.
04기록의 보관 책임과 백업
모든 기록은 이용자의 기기 안에만 저장되고, 개발자 쪽에는 사본이 없습니다. 따라서 기록의 보관 책임은 전적으로 이용자에게 있습니다. 다음의 경우 기록은 복구할 수 없습니다.
- 앱 삭제, 기기 초기화, 기기 분실·고장
- 설정의 "모든 데이터 삭제" 실행
- 기기 저장소 오류로 인한 손상
이에 대비해 앱은 JSON 백업 내보내기와 불러오기를 제공합니다. 중요한 기록은 정기적으로 백업 파일을 내보내 안전한 곳에 보관하시기 바랍니다. 개발자는 이용자를 대신해 데이터를 복구해 드릴 수단이 없습니다(가지고 있지 않기 때문입니다).
05앱은 로스팅을 지도·판정하지 않습니다
CrackLog는 기록 도구이며, 로스팅을 가르치거나 판정하거나 제어하는 도구가 아닙니다.
- 앱은 로스팅 조언·권고·경고를 하지 않습니다. DTR(디벨롭 타임 비율)·수율 등 화면에 표시되는 수치는 이용자가 입력한 값에서 계산된 정보 표시일 뿐이며, "이상적", "적정", "권장" 같은 판정이 아닙니다.
- 로스트 레벨은 이용자가 직접 선택합니다 — 앱이 자동으로 판정하지 않습니다.
- 온도는 이용자가 손으로 입력한 값입니다. 앱은 로스터·온도 프로브와 연동하지 않으며, 입력값의 정확성을 검증할 방법이 없습니다.
- 크랙 시각은 이용자가 탭한 시점입니다. 앱은 소리를 듣거나 크랙을 자동 감지하지 않습니다.
- 따라서 앱의 화면·수치·커브는 로스팅 결과(맛·품질·성패)를 보장하지 않으며, 이를 근거로 한 판단의 결과에 대해 개발자는 책임지지 않습니다.
06화기 · 로스팅 기기 안전
커피 로스팅은 화기·고온·연기·채프(껍질)를 다루는 작업으로, 화상과 화재의 위험이 있습니다.
로스팅 기기의 안전한 사용·환기·화재 예방·기기 취급은 전적으로 이용자와 해당 기기 제조사의 책임입니다. 반드시 기기 제조사의 사용설명서와 안전 지침을 따르고, 로스팅 중에는 기기를 방치하지 마세요.
CrackLog는 기록만 하는 앱으로 로스팅 기기를 제어하지 않으며, 안전을 감시하거나 경고하지 않습니다. 앱 화면에 집중하느라 기기에서 눈을 떼지 마세요. 개발자는 로스팅 과정에서 발생한 화상·화재·연기·기기 손상·재산 피해에 대해 어떠한 책임도 지지 않습니다.
07이용자 콘텐츠
이용자가 앱에 입력한 모든 내용(생두·기기·메모·온도·크랙 기록·배치 카드)은 이용자의 것이며, 이용자의 기기에만 저장됩니다. 개발자는 이를 수집·열람·이용하지 않으며, 그럴 수 있는 경로도 없습니다. 따라서 이용자가 개발자에게 콘텐츠 이용 라이선스를 부여할 필요도 없습니다.
이용자가 백업 파일을 내보내 외부로 공유하는 경우, 그 파일의 관리 책임은 이용자에게 있습니다.
08지식재산권
앱의 소프트웨어, 이름·로고 등 상표, 화면 디자인, 아이콘 등 일체의 지식재산권은 개발자 또는 정당한 권리자에게 귀속됩니다. 본 약관은 앱을 개인적·비상업적으로 이용할 수 있는 취소 가능한 비독점적 권리만을 부여하며, 그 밖의 권리는 유보됩니다.
09금지 행위
- 앱의 리버스 엔지니어링, 디컴파일, 역어셈블, 무단 개작·재배포·판매.
- 앱 또는 그 자산(디자인·아이콘·문구)을 무단으로 복제해 별도의 제품으로 배포하는 행위.
- 관련 법령을 위반하거나 타인의 권리를 침해하는 방식의 이용.
10보증의 부인
앱은 "있는 그대로(as is)"·"이용 가능한 상태 그대로(as available)" 제공됩니다. 개발자는 앱이 중단 없이 또는 오류 없이 동작함을 보증하지 않으며, 기록의 정확성·완전성·특정 목적 적합성·데이터 보존을 보증하지 않습니다. 타이머·경과 시간·커브 표시는 기기의 상태(저전력 모드, 강제 종료, 저장소 오류 등)에 영향을 받을 수 있습니다.
11책임의 제한
관련 법이 허용하는 최대 범위에서, 개발자는 앱의 이용 또는 이용 불능으로 발생한 간접적·부수적·특별·결과적 손해(기록의 유실, 로스팅 실패, 생두·기기 손상, 영업 손실 등)에 대하여 책임을 지지 않습니다. 앱은 무료로 제공되므로 개발자의 총 책임은 법이 허용하는 한도에서 최소한으로 제한됩니다. 다만 소비자 보호에 관한 강행 법규는 본 조항에 우선합니다.
12앱 변경 · 지원 종료
개발자는 앱의 기능을 변경하거나 업데이트·배포를 중단할 수 있습니다. 앱은 서버에 의존하지 않으므로, 배포가 중단되어도 이미 설치된 앱과 기기에 저장된 기록은 계속 사용할 수 있습니다(운영체제 호환성이 유지되는 범위에서). 중요한 기록은 백업 내보내기로 별도 보관하시기 바랍니다.
13준거법 · 표준 EULA
본 약관은 대한민국 법을 준거법으로 하며, 분쟁은 대한민국 법원을 관할 법원으로 합니다(이용자의 거주지 소비자 보호법이 보장하는 권리는 영향을 받지 않습니다). 본 약관에서 명시적으로 정하지 않은 사항은 Apple App Store를 통해 배포되는 앱에 적용되는 Apple 표준 최종 사용자 사용권 계약(Standard EULA)을 따릅니다.
14약관 변경 · 문의
본 약관이 변경되면 이 페이지에 갱신된 내용을 게시하고 상단의 시행일을 갱신합니다. 변경 이후에도 앱을 계속 이용하면 변경된 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.

Thank you for using CrackLog ("the App"). These Terms set out the conditions of use between you and the developer, Team DogFoot. By installing and using the App, you agree to these Terms.
The App is provided with no account, no server, and entirely free of charge. Please also read our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
01The App
CrackLog (listed on the App Store as CrackLog: Coffee Roasting Log) is an app for logging home coffee roasting. You start the timer, type temperatures in by hand, and tap first and second crack yourself; the roast curve is drawn as you go, and each batch becomes a card once you drop.
The App is fully local — there are no accounts, no servers we operate, and every record is stored only on your device.
02Eligibility (no accounts)
- There is no sign-up or sign-in. Install it and start using it.
- Because there are no accounts, concepts like suspension, termination, or lost passwords do not exist here.
- Roasting involves open flame and hot equipment. Children must not roast or use this App without adult supervision.
- The App runs on iOS devices, and you must also comply with Apple's applicable terms.
03Pricing
CrackLog is free, with every feature included. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no ads.
Paid features may be introduced in the future, in which case the terms will be disclosed clearly in advance. Even then, features existing users already use will not be taken away (grandfathering). If in-app purchases are introduced, payments and refunds follow Apple App Store policy.
04Your records & backups
All records are stored only on your device, and we hold no copy. Keeping your records safe is therefore entirely your responsibility. Records cannot be recovered if:
- you delete the App, reset the device, or lose or break the device;
- you run "Delete all data" in Settings; or
- device storage becomes corrupted.
To guard against this, the App provides JSON backup export and import. Please export a backup regularly and keep it somewhere safe. We have no means of recovering your data for you, because we never had it.
05The App does not coach or judge your roast
CrackLog is a logging tool, not a tool that teaches, evaluates, or controls roasting.
- The App gives no roasting advice, recommendations, or warnings. Figures such as DTR (development time ratio) and yield are information computed from what you entered — they are not verdicts and imply nothing about what is "ideal," "correct," or "recommended."
- The roast level is chosen by you; the App never determines it automatically.
- Temperatures are values you type in by hand. The App does not connect to roasters or temperature probes and has no way to verify what you enter.
- Crack times are the moments you tapped. The App does not listen for or auto-detect cracks.
- Accordingly, the App's screens, numbers, and curves do not guarantee any roasting outcome (taste, quality, or success), and the developer is not responsible for decisions you make based on them.
06Fire & equipment safety
Coffee roasting involves open flame, high heat, smoke, and chaff, and carries a risk of burns and fire.
Safe operation, ventilation, fire prevention, and handling of your roasting equipment are entirely your responsibility and that of the equipment manufacturer. Always follow the manufacturer's manual and safety instructions, and never leave a roast unattended.
CrackLog only records: it does not control your equipment and does not monitor or warn you about safety. Do not let the App's screen take your eyes off the roaster. The developer accepts no liability whatsoever for burns, fire, smoke, equipment damage, or property loss arising from roasting.
07Your content
Everything you enter into the App (beans, equipment, notes, temperatures, crack marks, batch cards) belongs to you and is stored only on your device. The developer does not collect, view, or use it, and has no path by which to do so. You therefore grant us no content license — none is needed.
If you export a backup and share it elsewhere, managing that file is your responsibility.
08Intellectual property
All intellectual property in the App — software, the name and logo and other marks, screen design, and icons — belongs to the developer or its rightful owners. These Terms grant only a revocable, non-exclusive right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes; all other rights are reserved.
09Prohibited conduct
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App, or modifying, redistributing, or selling it without authorization.
- Copying the App or its assets (design, icons, copy) to distribute as a separate product.
- Using the App in any way that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others.
10Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." The developer does not warrant that it will run uninterrupted or error-free, nor does it warrant the accuracy or completeness of records, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of data. The timer, elapsed time, and curve display may be affected by device conditions (low power mode, force quit, storage errors, and the like).
11Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App — including lost records, failed roasts, damage to beans or equipment, and lost business. Because the App is provided free of charge, the developer's total liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer-protection laws prevail over this clause.
12Changes & discontinuation
The developer may change the App's features or stop updating and distributing it. Because the App does not depend on any server, an already-installed copy and the records on your device keep working even if distribution ends (as long as the operating system remains compatible). Please keep important records safe with backup export.
13Governing law & Standard EULA
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, with the courts of the Republic of Korea as the competent forum (this does not affect rights guaranteed by the consumer-protection laws of your place of residence). Anything not expressly covered here is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) for apps distributed through the Apple App Store.
14Changes to these Terms & contact
If these Terms change, we will post the update on this page and revise the effective date above. Continuing to use the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
