OathTrail is a fully offline app. It has no server, no account, no analytics SDK, and makes zero network requests. Your procedure stage, dates, checklist marks, and quiz practice never leave your phone.
The app stores your selected stage, interview date, checklist state, and settings locally on your device only. Deleting the app — or using "Delete all data" in Settings — permanently removes everything. There are no backups on our side because nothing is ever sent to us.
Optional reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Notification text intentionally avoids any mention of citizenship, immigration, or interview status so nothing sensitive appears on your lock screen.
Official source links (uscis.gov) open in your browser, outside the app. The app itself never fetches web content.
