ReleasePad collects no personal data. Everything in a release — the model's name, contact details, date of birth, signatures, and reference photos — stays on your device. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. The app makes no network requests at all.
ReleasePad has no backend. Nothing you or a model enters is transmitted anywhere. The app works completely offline — shoots often happen in basements and remote locations, and that is exactly where it is designed to work.
A model release contains another person's details — name, contact, date of birth, and a handwritten signature. This information is stored only on your device, under your control. A release leaves your phone only when you explicitly share or print the PDF, and only to the destination you choose.
If you attach a reference photo of the model, a copy is stored in ReleasePad's private storage on your device. The camera is used only when you choose to take a reference photo; photo library access is used only when you choose to pick one. Both are optional. Photos are never uploaded, synced, or shared by the app.
ReleasePad contains no analytics SDK and no third-party trackers. No usage statistics are collected, and nothing is used for advertising or tracking.
Releases, signatures, and settings are stored locally. Because signed releases are legal records you may need years later, they are included in your device's standard iCloud or encrypted backup, which is managed by Apple under your iCloud terms — ReleasePad has no access to it.
Delete a release in the app to remove it together with its signature images and reference photo, use Settings → Delete all data to erase everything at once, or delete the app.
ReleasePad does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Releases for minor models are signed by a parent or legal guardian, and that information also never leaves the device.
