RoundTally Privacy Policy

RoundTally is built on a simple promise: your round list stays on your phone.

What we collect

Nothing. RoundTally has no account, no sign-up, and no server of ours. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our systems. There is no analytics SDK and no advertising.

Where your data lives

All data you enter — your customer list, addresses, prices, schedules, payment and arrears records — is stored only on your device. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it (export it first with Settings > Export list (CSV) / Full backup (JSON) if you want to keep it).

Network use

RoundTally works fully offline. The app only uses the network for:

• Map tiles and geocoding (Apple Maps / Apple's geocoder) — to turn an address you enter into a map pin. This is an address lookup only. RoundTally never tracks or records your location or movements, and never requests background location access.
• Handing off to Apple Maps for directions, or to your Messages app to send a reminder — these open other apps; RoundTally sends nothing to us.

Your customers' information (third-party data)

Your customer list may contain other people's names, addresses, and payment details. RoundTally is not the controller of that data — you are. The app simply stores it on your device on your behalf. We recommend you handle it in line with UK GDPR. To help:

• Notification text never exposes a customer's name, address, or arrears on your lock screen — only aggregate numbers ("N houses · £X").
• Visit/arrears reminder messages contain only the recipient's own details.

Deleting your data

Settings > Delete all data permanently removes all data from your device. Because there is no account or server, this is complete and immediate.

Children

RoundTally does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children — it collects no data at all.
