Your records never leave your phone. DutyWheel has no account system, no sign-up, no server, and no analytics SDK. Your rotation, your overtime log, your court dates — all of it is stored only on your device.
A shift calendar for police and fire personnel is not ordinary data. Your rotation shows when your home is empty and when you are on the street; a court date names a case you are involved in. That is why DutyWheel is built with no network layer at all rather than with a privacy policy bolted onto a cloud app.
Nothing. DutyWheel does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app makes no network requests.
The optional widget reads your next shift from a shared container on the same device. It never leaves the device, and it deliberately does not display case details or court notes — a lock screen is a surface other people can see.
Shift and court reminders are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push server, and the app never registers for remote notifications.
Settings → Delete All Data removes the schedule, every logged entry, and all settings from your device. Deleting the app has the same effect.
DutyWheel is a record-keeping tool. It does not calculate pay, does not determine overtime eligibility under any labor law, and does not provide legal advice. Overtime multipliers are fields you fill in for your own records.
DutyWheel is a workplace tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
