Terms of Use
SteamLog(이하 "앱")를 이용해 주셔서 감사합니다. 본 약관은 이용자와 개발자 Team DogFoot 간의 이용 조건을 정합니다. 앱을 설치 · 이용하면 본 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.
앱은 계정 없이, 서버 없이, 전부 무료로 제공됩니다. 데이터 처리에 관한 내용은 개인정보처리방침을 함께 확인해 주세요.
01앱 개요
SteamLog(App Store 표기 SteamLog: Sauna & Cold Plunge)는 사우나와 냉수욕 세션을 기록하는 앱입니다. 사우나 · 냉탕 · 휴식을 한 세트씩 라운드 타이머로 돌리고, [끝내기]를 한 번 누르면 기록이 성립하며, 그 세션이 "오늘의 정돈" 카드 한 장으로 정리됩니다. 온도 · 정돈 레벨 · 장소 · 메모는 모두 선택 입력이며, 전부 건너뛰어도 카드는 완성됩니다. 폰 없이 다녀온 세션은 "지난 사우나 기록하기"로 손으로 적을 수 있습니다.
앱은 완전 로컬입니다 — 계정이 없고, 운영 서버가 없으며, 모든 기록은 이용자의 기기 안에만 저장됩니다.
02이용 조건 (계정 없음)
- 앱을 쓰기 위한 가입 · 로그인이 없습니다. 설치하면 바로 사용할 수 있습니다.
- 계정이 없으므로 계정 정지 · 해지 · 비밀번호 분실 같은 개념이 존재하지 않습니다.
- 고온의 사우나와 냉수욕은 신체에 부담이 되는 활동입니다. 어린이는 보호자의 판단과 감독 아래에서만 이용해야 합니다.
- 앱은 iOS 기기에서 동작하며, 이용자는 Apple의 관련 약관도 함께 준수해야 합니다.
03요금
SteamLog는 전 기능 무료로 제공됩니다. 인앱 결제 · 구독 · 광고가 없습니다.
향후 유료 기능이 도입될 수 있으며, 그 경우 조건을 사전에 명확히 고지합니다. 유료화가 도입되더라도 기존 이용자가 이미 쓰던 기능은 회수하지 않습니다(grandfathering). 인앱 결제가 도입되면 결제 · 환불은 Apple App Store 정책에 따릅니다.
04기록의 보관 책임 (백업 없음)
모든 기록은 이용자의 기기 안에만 저장되고, 개발자 쪽에는 사본이 없습니다. 또한 앱에는 클라우드 백업 · 기기 간 동기화 · 내보내기 기능이 없습니다(서버를 두지 않는다는 설계에서 따라오는 결과입니다). 따라서 기록의 보관 책임은 전적으로 이용자에게 있으며, 다음의 경우 기록은 복구할 수 없습니다.
- 앱 삭제, 기기 초기화, 기기 분실 · 고장
- 설정의 "모두 삭제하기" 실행, 개별 기록 삭제
- 기기 저장소 오류로 인한 손상
개발자는 이용자를 대신해 데이터를 복구해 드릴 수단이 없습니다(가지고 있지 않기 때문입니다). 오래 남기고 싶은 세션이 있다면 정돈 카드를 이미지로 공유해 따로 보관해 두시기 바랍니다.
05건강 · 의료에 관한 면책
SteamLog는 기록 도구이며, 건강 · 의료에 관한 조언을 제공하지 않습니다.
- 앱은 의료기기가 아니고, 의학적 진단 · 치료 · 처방 · 예방을 목적으로 하지 않습니다.
- 앱은 사우나 · 냉수욕에 관하여 권고 · 지시 · 판정을 하지 않습니다. 화면의 시간 · 온도 · 세트 수 · 누적 통계는 이용자가 입력하거나 측정한 값을 그대로 보여 주는 기록일 뿐이며, "적정", "권장", "이상적"이라는 의미를 담지 않습니다.
- 기본 라운드 시간과 세트 구성은 단지 초기값이며, 이용자에게 적합한 이용 시간을 제시하는 것이 아닙니다. 이용자는 자신의 상태와 시설 안내에 따라 언제든 단계를 넘기거나 세션을 끝낼 수 있고, 그렇게 해야 합니다.
- "정돈(整い · 토토노이)" 레벨은 이용자가 스스로 고르는 주관적인 기록 항목일 뿐이며, 신체 상태 · 회복 정도 · 건강 수준을 나타내는 지표가 아닙니다.
- 앱은 사우나 · 냉수욕이 어떤 효과나 이익을 준다고 주장하지 않으며, 그러한 결과를 보장하지 않습니다.
- 앱의 사용은 의료 전문가의 진단 · 상담을 대신할 수 없습니다. 건강에 관한 결정은 반드시 자격을 갖춘 전문가와 상의해 주세요.
06사우나 · 냉수욕 안전
고온의 사우나와 찬물 입수는 신체에 부담을 주는 활동이며, 어지러움 · 실신 · 화상 · 저체온 · 미끄러짐 · 익사 등의 위험이 따릅니다.
심혈관 질환 · 고혈압 · 저혈압 · 부정맥 · 당뇨 · 간질 등의 질환이 있거나, 임신 중이거나, 약을 복용 중이거나, 음주 상태이거나, 고령 · 어린이인 경우에는 이용 전에 반드시 의료 전문가와 상담하세요. 어지럽거나 가슴이 답답하거나 몸이 불편하면 즉시 중단하고 필요하면 도움을 요청하세요.
이용 방식 · 시간 · 온도 · 냉수 입수 여부에 대한 판단과 시설 안전 수칙 준수는 전적으로 이용자와 해당 시설의 책임입니다. SteamLog는 기록만 하는 앱으로 이용자의 상태를 감시하지 않고, 위험을 감지하거나 경고하지 않으며, 언제 나와야 하는지 알려 주지 않습니다. 타이머가 남았다는 이유로 몸이 보내는 신호를 무시하지 마세요. 개발자는 사우나 · 냉수욕 이용 과정에서 발생한 신체적 · 재산적 피해에 대하여 어떠한 책임도 지지 않습니다.
또한 사우나 실내는 고온 · 고습이라 전자기기에 손상을 줄 수 있습니다. 기기를 반입할지 여부는 이용자의 판단이며, 그로 인한 기기 손상에 대해 개발자는 책임지지 않습니다.
07타이머와 알림의 한계
- 앱의 타이머는 시작 절대 시각을 기준으로 매번 다시 계산하므로, 앱을 벗어나거나 화면이 꺼져도 경과 시간이 어긋나지 않도록 설계되어 있습니다. 다만 이는 정확한 시간 표시를 위한 설계일 뿐, 어떤 상황에서도 오차가 없음을 보증하는 것은 아닙니다.
- 단계 종료 알림은 기기에 예약되는 로컬 알림입니다. 알림 권한 거부, 집중 모드 · 무음 · 방해 금지, 저전력 모드, 앱 강제 종료, 기기 설정 등에 따라 울리지 않거나 늦게 울릴 수 있습니다.
- 따라서 알림에만 의존하지 마세요. 특히 냉수욕 중에는 자신의 몸 상태와 시설의 안내를 우선하고, 필요하면 동행자에게 알려 두세요.
08이용자 콘텐츠와 공유
이용자가 앱에 입력한 모든 내용(세션 · 온도 · 정돈 레벨 · 장소 이름 · 메모)은 이용자의 것이며, 이용자의 기기에만 저장됩니다. 개발자는 이를 수집 · 열람 · 이용하지 않으며, 그럴 수 있는 경로도 없습니다. 따라서 이용자가 개발자에게 콘텐츠 이용 라이선스를 부여할 필요도 없습니다.
이용자가 "공유"를 눌러 정돈 카드 이미지를 다른 앱이나 SNS로 내보내는 경우, 그 이미지의 공개 범위와 관리 책임은 이용자에게 있습니다. 카드에는 입력한 장소 이름과 메모가 보이는 그대로 담기므로, 보내기 전에 내용을 확인해 주세요. 공유 이후 그 이미지가 다뤄지는 방식은 이용자가 고른 앱 · 서비스의 정책에 따릅니다.
09지식재산권
앱의 소프트웨어, 이름 · 로고 등 상표, 화면 디자인, 정돈 카드 디자인, 아이콘 등 일체의 지식재산권은 개발자 또는 정당한 권리자에게 귀속됩니다. 본 약관은 앱을 개인적 · 비상업적으로 이용할 수 있는 취소 가능한 비독점적 권리만을 부여하며, 그 밖의 권리는 유보됩니다. 이용자가 자신의 기록으로 만든 정돈 카드 이미지를 개인 SNS 등에 게시하는 것은 자유입니다.
10금지 행위
- 앱의 리버스 엔지니어링, 디컴파일, 역어셈블, 무단 개작 · 재배포 · 판매.
- 앱 또는 그 자산(디자인 · 카드 템플릿 · 아이콘 · 문구)을 무단으로 복제해 별도의 제품으로 배포하는 행위.
- 관련 법령을 위반하거나 타인의 권리를 침해하는 방식의 이용.
11보증의 부인
앱은 "있는 그대로(as is)" · "이용 가능한 상태 그대로(as available)" 제공됩니다. 개발자는 앱이 중단 없이 또는 오류 없이 동작함을 보증하지 않으며, 기록의 정확성 · 완전성 · 특정 목적 적합성 · 데이터 보존을 보증하지 않습니다. 타이머 표시 · 경과 시간 · 알림 전달은 기기의 상태(저전력 모드, 집중 모드, 강제 종료, 저장소 오류 등)에 영향을 받을 수 있습니다.
12책임의 제한
관련 법이 허용하는 최대 범위에서, 개발자는 앱의 이용 또는 이용 불능으로 발생한 간접적 · 부수적 · 특별 · 결과적 손해(기록의 유실, 알림 미수신, 사우나 · 냉수욕 이용 중 발생한 신체적 피해, 기기 손상 등)에 대하여 책임을 지지 않습니다. 앱은 무료로 제공되므로 개발자의 총 책임은 법이 허용하는 한도에서 최소한으로 제한됩니다. 다만 소비자 보호에 관한 강행 법규와, 법률상 배제할 수 없는 책임(고의 · 중과실로 인한 생명 · 신체 침해 등)은 본 조항에 우선합니다.
13앱 변경 · 지원 종료
개발자는 앱의 기능을 변경하거나 업데이트 · 배포를 중단할 수 있습니다. 앱은 서버에 의존하지 않으므로, 배포가 중단되어도 이미 설치된 앱과 기기에 저장된 기록은 계속 사용할 수 있습니다(운영체제 호환성이 유지되는 범위에서).
14준거법 · 표준 EULA
본 약관은 대한민국 법을 준거법으로 하며, 분쟁은 대한민국 법원을 관할 법원으로 합니다(이용자의 거주지 소비자 보호법이 보장하는 권리는 영향을 받지 않습니다). 본 약관에서 명시적으로 정하지 않은 사항은 Apple App Store를 통해 배포되는 앱에 적용되는 Apple 표준 최종 사용자 사용권 계약(Standard EULA)을 따릅니다.
15약관 변경 · 문의
본 약관이 변경되면 이 페이지에 갱신된 내용을 게시하고 상단의 시행일을 갱신합니다. 변경 이후에도 앱을 계속 이용하면 변경된 약관에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.

Thank you for using SteamLog ("the App"). These Terms set out the conditions of use between you and the developer, Team DogFoot. By installing and using the App, you agree to these Terms.
The App is provided with no account, no server, and entirely free of charge. Please also read our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
01The App
SteamLog (listed on the App Store as SteamLog: Sauna & Cold Plunge) is an app for logging sauna and cold plunge sessions. A round timer walks you through sauna, cold, and rest; one tap on "End" is enough for the session to be recorded, and it is then laid out as a "today's totonoi" card. Temperature, totonoi rating, venue, and notes are all optional — skip every one of them and the card still completes. A session you did without your phone can be typed in afterwards with "Log a past session."
The App is fully local — there are no accounts, no servers we operate, and every record is stored only on your device.
02Eligibility (no accounts)
- There is no sign-up or sign-in. Install it and start using it.
- Because there are no accounts, concepts like suspension, termination, or lost passwords do not exist here.
- Hot sauna and cold water are physically demanding. Children should take part only under the judgement and supervision of a responsible adult.
- The App runs on iOS devices, and you must also comply with Apple's applicable terms.
03Pricing
SteamLog is free, with every feature included. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no ads.
Paid features may be introduced in the future, in which case the terms will be disclosed clearly in advance. Even then, features existing users already use will not be taken away (grandfathering). If in-app purchases are introduced, payments and refunds follow Apple App Store policy.
04Your records (no backup)
All records are stored only on your device, and we hold no copy. The App also has no cloud backup, no device-to-device sync, and no export — a direct consequence of running no server. Keeping your records is therefore entirely your responsibility, and they cannot be recovered if:
- you delete the App, reset the device, or lose or break the device;
- you delete a record, or run "Delete everything" in Settings; or
- device storage becomes corrupted.
We have no means of recovering your data for you, because we never had it. If a session matters to you, share its totonoi card as an image and keep that copy wherever you like.
05Health & medical disclaimer
SteamLog is a logging tool. It does not provide health or medical advice.
- The App is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent anything.
- The App gives no recommendations, instructions, or verdicts about sauna or cold water use. The durations, temperatures, round counts, and totals on screen are simply a record of what you entered or measured — they carry no meaning of "correct," "recommended," or "ideal."
- The default round lengths and the sauna–cold–rest structure are starting values only. They are not a suggestion of how long you personally should stay in. You can advance a phase or end the session at any moment — and you should, whenever your body or the venue's guidance says so.
- The "totonoi" rating is a subjective note you choose yourself. It is not a measure of your physical condition, recovery, or health.
- The App makes no claim that sauna or cold water use produces any effect or benefit, and guarantees no outcome of any kind.
- Using the App is not a substitute for professional medical assessment or advice. Please discuss decisions about your health with a qualified professional.
06Sauna & cold water safety
Hot sauna and cold water immersion place real strain on the body and carry risks including dizziness, fainting, burns, hypothermia, slipping, and drowning.
If you have a cardiovascular condition, high or low blood pressure, an arrhythmia, diabetes, epilepsy or similar conditions; if you are pregnant, taking medication, or have been drinking; or for elderly people and children — consult a qualified medical professional before taking part. If you feel dizzy, short of breath, or unwell in any way, stop immediately and ask for help if you need it.
How you use a sauna or cold bath — how long, how hot, whether to plunge at all — and following the venue's safety rules are entirely your responsibility and that of the facility. SteamLog only records: it does not monitor your condition, does not detect or warn about danger, and never tells you when to get out. Do not override what your body is telling you just because time is left on a timer. The developer accepts no liability whatsoever for injury, illness, or property loss arising from sauna or cold water use.
A sauna cabin is also hot and humid enough to damage electronics. Whether to bring your phone in is your decision, and the developer is not liable for damage to your device.
07Limits of the timer & notifications
- The timer is recalculated from the session's absolute start time every time it is displayed, so elapsed time is designed not to drift when you leave the app or the screen turns off. That is a design for accurate display, not a warranty that no discrepancy can ever occur.
- Phase-end alerts are local notifications scheduled on your device. They may fail to fire or fire late depending on notification permission, Focus / Silent / Do Not Disturb modes, Low Power Mode, force-quitting the app, and your device settings.
- Do not rely on the notification alone. In cold water especially, put your own condition and the venue's guidance first, and tell someone nearby if it helps.
08Your content & sharing
Everything you enter into the App (sessions, temperatures, totonoi ratings, venue names, notes) belongs to you and is stored only on your device. The developer does not collect, view, or use it, and has no path by which to do so. You therefore grant us no content license — none is needed.
If you tap "Share" and send a totonoi card image to another app or a social network, who sees it and what happens to it are your responsibility. The card shows the venue name and note exactly as you typed them, so check it before you send. After that, the image is handled according to the policies of whatever app or service you chose.
09Intellectual property
All intellectual property in the App — software, the name and logo and other marks, screen design, the totonoi card design, and icons — belongs to the developer or its rightful owners. These Terms grant only a revocable, non-exclusive right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes; all other rights are reserved. You are of course free to post card images made from your own sessions on your own social accounts.
10Prohibited conduct
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App, or modifying, redistributing, or selling it without authorization.
- Copying the App or its assets (design, card templates, icons, copy) to distribute as a separate product.
- Using the App in any way that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others.
11Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." The developer does not warrant that it will run uninterrupted or error-free, nor does it warrant the accuracy or completeness of records, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of data. Timer display, elapsed time, and notification delivery may be affected by device conditions (Low Power Mode, Focus modes, force quit, storage errors, and the like).
12Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App — including lost records, missed notifications, injury sustained during sauna or cold water use, and damage to your device. Because the App is provided free of charge, the developer's total liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer-protection laws, and liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as death or personal injury caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence), prevail over this clause.
13Changes & discontinuation
The developer may change the App's features or stop updating and distributing it. Because the App does not depend on any server, an already-installed copy and the records on your device keep working even if distribution ends (as long as the operating system remains compatible).
14Governing law & Standard EULA
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, with the courts of the Republic of Korea as the competent forum (this does not affect rights guaranteed by the consumer-protection laws of your place of residence). Anything not expressly covered here is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) for apps distributed through the Apple App Store.
15Changes to these Terms & contact
If these Terms change, we will post the update on this page and revise the effective date above. Continuing to use the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
