Tandalo Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 September 2026

The short version

Tandalo is a ledger for savings circles (tanda, arisan, altın günü and similar). Everything you type — circle names, member names, who has contributed in which round, draw history, a gold price you entered — is written to your phone's storage and stays there. The developer never receives it, because the app has no server to receive it.

Tandalo does not hold or move money

The app only records what your group tells it. It does not connect to banks, wallets or payment services, and it cannot collect, send or keep funds.

What is stored, and where

Circles, members, contribution marks, draw results with their public seed, reminder settings and your language or appearance choices are saved locally on the device. Removing the app, or choosing "Delete all data" in Settings, erases them. We hold no copy and cannot restore them.

Motion sensor

When you shake to draw, a short burst of motion readings is mixed into the draw's public seed so the result can be re-checked later. The readings are used on the device for that one draw and are not transmitted.

Reminders

If you switch a reminder on, it is scheduled by your phone itself. Reminder text never includes a member's name or an amount.

Sharing

A receipt card or reminder card leaves your device only when you tap Share and choose where to send it. After that, the app you chose handles the image under its own policy.

Analytics, ads, tracking

There are none. No analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no identifiers.

Children

Tandalo is a record-keeping tool for adults who run a savings circle. It is not directed at children.
