CrackLog는 홈로스팅 기록 앱입니다. 타이머를 켜고 1차·2차 크랙 순간에 큰 버튼을 한 번 누르면 로스트 커브에 점이 찍히고, 배출하면 그 커브가 배치 카드가 되어 수집에 쌓입니다.
계정도 서버도 없습니다. 기록은 전부 이 폰 안에만 있습니다.

문의하실 때 앱 버전(설정 화면 맨 아래)·기기 모델·iOS 버전을 같이 적어 주세요. 특정 배치에서 생긴 문제라면 그 배치의 총 시간·크랙 시각·온도 입력 개수를 알려 주시면 재현이 훨씬 빨라집니다. 계정이 없어 저희가 형의 기록을 들여다볼 방법이 아예 없기 때문에, 적어 주신 내용이 유일한 단서입니다.
자주 묻는 질문
기록이 어디에 저장되나요?
이 폰 안에만 저장됩니다. 앱은 네트워크 요청을 한 번도 하지 않고, 계정·클라우드 동기화·분석 도구가 아예 없습니다. 그래서 앱을 삭제하면 기록도 함께 사라집니다 — 아래 백업을 권합니다.
기기를 바꾸는데 기록을 옮길 수 있나요?
네. 설정 → 백업 내보내기로 JSON 파일 하나를 만들어 원하는 곳(파일 앱·메일·에어드롭)에 저장하고, 새 기기에서 설정 → 백업 불러오기로 그 파일을 고르면 됩니다.
크랙을 잘못 눌렀어요.
누른 직후 아래에 뜨는 스낵바에서 바로 되돌리기를 누르면 됩니다. 로스팅이 끝난 뒤에도 배치 카드 → 편집에서 크랙 시각을 초 단위로 앞뒤로 밀 수 있고, 총 시간과 DTR이 다시 계산됩니다.
온도계나 로스터를 연결할 수 있나요?
연결하지 않습니다. 블루투스 프로브 연동, 마이크로 크랙 소리를 자동 감지하는 기능은 넣지 않기로 정한 것이지 빠뜨린 것이 아닙니다. CrackLog는 형이 로스터 눈금을 읽고 직접 찍는 손기록 쪽이고, 그래서 권한을 하나도 요청하지 않습니다. 프로브 자동 계측이 필요하시면 그쪽 전문 도구가 더 맞습니다.
로스트 레벨은 왜 자동으로 안 정해지나요?
온도만으로 판정하면 틀립니다. 같은 배출 온도라도 기구·투입량·불세기에 따라 색이 다르게 나옵니다. 보고 듣고 맡은 대로 형이 고르는 게 맞고, 앱은 고른 값을 그대로 기록만 합니다.
DTR이 뭔가요?
Development Time Ratio — 1차 크랙 이후 시간이 전체 로스팅 시간에서 차지하는 비율입니다. CrackLog는 이 값을 보여 주기만 합니다. 몇 퍼센트가 좋다·나쁘다는 판단은 하지 않습니다.
온도가 ℉로 나옵니다 / ℃로 바꾸고 싶어요.
설정 → 온도 단위에서 바꿀 수 있습니다. 저장은 항상 ℃ 기준이라 단위를 바꿔도 지난 기록이 변형되지 않습니다. 무게(g·oz)도 마찬가지입니다.
"데모" 뱃지가 붙은 배치는 뭔가요?
생두 없이 킥을 체험해 보시라고 넣은 데모 로스트입니다. 10분짜리 로스팅을 30초로 돌려 보여 줍니다. 데모 배치는 통계·겹쳐보기에서 제외되고, 언제든 지울 수 있습니다.
로스팅 중에 화면이 꺼집니다.
타이머가 도는 동안에는 화면이 꺼지지 않게 되어 있습니다(설정에서 끌 수 있습니다). 그래도 꺼진다면 iOS 저전력 모드를 확인해 주세요. 전화가 오거나 화면이 잠겨도 타이머는 시작 시각 기준으로 다시 계산되므로 시간이 어긋나지 않습니다.
모든 기록을 지우고 싶어요.
설정 → 모든 데이터 삭제를 누르면 배치·설정이 한 번에 지워집니다. 되돌릴 수 없으니 필요하면 먼저 백업을 내보내 주세요. 계정이 따로 없으므로 이 기능이 곧 계정 삭제에 해당합니다.

Please include your app version (bottom of the Settings screen), device model and iOS version. If it happened on a specific batch, the total time, crack times and how many temperatures you logged make it far easier to reproduce. There is no account, so we have no way to look at your data — what you write is the only clue we get.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?
On this phone only. The app never makes a network request and has no account, no cloud sync and no analytics. That also means deleting the app deletes your roasts — see backup below.
Can I move my roasts to a new phone?
Yes. Settings → Export backup writes a single JSON file you can keep anywhere (Files, mail, AirDrop). On the new phone, Settings → Import backup and pick that file.
I tapped the crack button by mistake.
Hit Undo in the snackbar that appears right after the tap. After the roast is over you can still nudge each crack a second at a time from the batch card's edit screen; total time and DTR are recalculated.
Can I connect a probe or my roaster?
No, and that is a decision rather than an omission. There is no Bluetooth probe support and nothing listens through the microphone to detect cracks for you. CrackLog is the hand-logged side of roasting — you read the roaster, you punch in the number, you hear the crack and you tap — which is why it asks for no permissions at all. If you need automated probe logging, a dedicated tool for that will serve you better.
Why doesn't the app decide the roast level?
Because temperature alone gets it wrong. The same drop temperature gives different colours depending on the machine, the batch size and the heat. You call it with your eyes, ears and nose; the app just records what you chose.
What is DTR?
Development Time Ratio — the share of the roast that happened after first crack. CrackLog shows it and nothing more. It never tells you which number is good.
Temperatures show in °F / I want °C.
Settings → temperature unit. Values are always stored in °C, so switching the unit never alters your existing roasts. The same goes for weight (g / oz).
What are the batches marked "Demo"?
A demo roast so you can feel the kick with no green beans in the house — ten minutes of roasting replayed in thirty seconds. Demo batches are excluded from your stats and overlays, and you can delete them any time.
The screen turns off while I'm roasting.
The screen is kept awake while the timer runs (you can turn that off in Settings). If it still sleeps, check iOS Low Power Mode. Even if a call comes in or the phone locks, the timer is recalculated from the session's start time, so it never drifts.
How do I erase everything?
Settings → Delete all data wipes every batch and setting at once. It can't be undone, so export a backup first if you might want it. There is no account, so this is the equivalent of account deletion.
